U.P. Purva Sainik Kalyan Nigam Limited (UPPSKNL), a Uttar Pradesh Government Undertaking is the first Ex-servicemen Corporation established on 23rd May 1989 as a UP State Government Undertaking under Section 617 of Companies Act 1956. Since its inception UPPSKNL has been able to create job opportunities for a vast number of Ex-servicemen including their wards and widows.

It provides Ex-servicemen based various services on contract basis for the rehabilitation and welfare of Ex-servicemen preventing their exploitation from private security agencies.
